We foster a collaborative, international environment where innovation, ownership, and continuous learning are at the heart of everything we do. /p h3What you'll do... /h3 pAs a bPlatform Engineer /b at Sofico, you’ll directly contribute to modernizing critical infrastructure, scaling a cloud-first platform, and enabling seamless experiences for top-tier automotive and mobility customers worldwide. /p pYou’ll join ourb Platform Operations Team or Platform Engineering Team /b, part of Sofico’s global Platform organization. We’re a close-knit group of engineers spread across multiple time zones, who collaborate daily to build and maintain the backbone of Sofico’s solutions. /p pThe work can be challenging, but what makes it worth it is the bond we share: we support each other, share laughs along the way, and always have each other’s back. /p h3In Belgium: /h3 pIn our Ghent office, you would become part of a global team, collaborating with people all around the world. /p h3Your responsibilities include /h3 ul liSetting up and managing scalable infrastructure (e.g. VM’s, Spoke’s, peering, firewall, …) in Azure, /li liThrough automation using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps /li liMonitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining infrastructure for global customers /li liZabbix, OpsGenie, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit Loki /li liSetting up and maintaining Site-2-Site IPSEC VPN tunnels between our infrastructure and our customers /li liSetting up and maintaining Cloudflare (WAF, tunnel, DNS, custom hostnames, …) /li liManaging global firewall, networks ranges and availability /li liSupporting customers other Sofico teams directly and providing technical consulting /li liModernising legacy components into scalable, cloud-native solutions /li liSharing knowledge within the team and across Sofico /li /ul h3What You'll Bring... /h3 ul liProven experience with at least one cloud provider, preferable Azure but others providers can be useful as well (AWS, OCI, …). Azure is our main stack, so proven Azure knowledge is a great advantage /li liProven experience with Linux systems ( commands) /li liExperience with Firewall tool (e.g. Fortinet, Fortimanager, Forti analyser) /li liExtended networking knowledge (DNS, Firewall, VDom, Adom, routing, Cloudflare…) /li liStrong communicator, comfortable explaining infra topics to technical and non-technical audiences /li liCustomer-oriented: able to jump on a call, ask the right questions, and solve problems /li liAnalytical mindset with attention to detail /li liCurious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies /li liA true team player who enjoys helping colleagues succeed /li liFluent in English, any other language is a plus /li /ul h3What's In It For You ... /h3 pJoin an international, multicultural company with more than 35 years of experience, which doubles in size every 5 years.
