What you will do
A Belgian public-sector organisation is undergoing digital transformation and needs to strengthen how its management committee functions as a collective. You will coach the leadership team through a structured change process, helping them take shared responsibility, make decisions together, and focus on problem-solving rather than causes.
Your work will include:
- Conducting individual listening sessions with each member of the management committee and selected members of the extended leadership community (around 50 managers)
- Paying particular attention to one specific department within the organisation
- Taking into account previous initiatives already undertaken within the committee
- Presenting your diagnosis to the management committee and proposing an adjusted approach
- Facilitating one or more collective working sessions, including a seminar-style event
- Preparing these sessions with participants
- Following up on commitments made by the committee
- Providing occasional individual support to committee members on request
You will propose your own methodology covering at least these stages: initial discovery and diagnosis, feedback to the committee, collective working time, and anchoring and follow-up. The approach should be flexible and adjust as the assignment progresses.
The director leads this initiative and participates fully alongside the committee.
What we are looking for
You have expert-level experience coaching management committees and senior leaders, ideally in the public sector or comparable large organisations. You can demonstrate:
- Expert-level skills in team coaching and supporting management committees
- Expert-level experience accompanying senior leaders
- Expert-level mastery of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
- Confirmed-level knowledge of collective intelligence techniques
- Confirmed-level certification in MCC (Master Certified Coach or similar)
- Confirmed-level expertise in change management methodologies such as PROSCI/ADKAR
- Confirmed-level experience with Lego Serious Play
- The ability to guarantee confidentiality and create a climate of trust
- Strong relational, communication and pedagogical skills
- Service orientation, adaptability, collaboration, creativity and flexibility
You will provide a team approach document (maximum 4 pages) explaining your philosophy, how you work with the director and the committee as a collective, your proposed step-by-step process, the tools and exercises you might use, how you ensure confidentiality, and how you measure progress with the committee.
You must be fluent in French (C2 proficiency level).
You can provide two or three references for comparable assignments supporting management committees, preferably in the public sector or organisations of similar size.
