Alternatively, lack of a university degree may be compensated by demonstrated abilities or experience of interest to NCIA, including at least 10 years of extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to those described in the Statement of Work ; /li liAt least 5 years of practical experience in cyber security or a related field, such as: /li ul liDeveloping and maintaining cyber security solution architectures , /li liDeveloping or delivering cyber security capabilities and services , /li liWorking in complex and demanding technical environments ; /li /ul liExtensive knowledge and experience (preferably more than 5 years) in: /li ul liCyber security principles, best practices, concepts, technologies, and operational procedures , /li liConfiguration and integration of cyber security tools and boundary protection components, including firewalls, Network Intrusion Prevention Systems (NIPS), Host Intrusion Prevention Systems (HIPS), and data diodes. /li liEncryption technologies , /li liIdentity and Access Management (IAM) , /li liMonitoring and detection solutions , /li liIncident response , /li liVulnerability assessment , /li liComputer forensics , /li liRisk management. /li /ul /ul h3Desirable : /h3 ul liExperience in working for or supporting a military or governmental organization . /li /ul h3Duties/role: /h3 ul liInstalling, configuring and testing firewalls, routers, switches, network proxies and VPN concentrators to maximise network efficiency and security in accordance with NCSC operational requirements ; /li liImplementing and validating security settings across Cisco, Juniper, Linux, Unix and Microsoft operating system environments ; /li liAssessing network performance, security and availability through continuous monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting using appropriate network management and security monitoring tools . /li /ul h3Additional information: /h3 pVECTOR SYNERGY sp. z o.o., ul.
