h3Principal Embedded Cryptographic Software Developer /h3 pEuropean Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading semicon company, based in Leuven, who are looking for a talented bPrincipal Embedded Cryptographic Software Developer /bto join their teamb. /b /p pIn this role you will join a development team focused on state-of-the art secure cryptographic libraries which are protected against physical and logical attacks, which have applications across all different domains and business lines (payment, identification, mobile, IoT, Automotive, Edge Processing, etc.). /p h3Responsibilities as bPrincipal Embedded Cryptographic Software Developer: /b /h3 ul liSpecification and cross-platform implementation of state-of-the-art cryptographic algorithms (incl. Post-Quantum Cryptography) and secure software based on functional requirements. /li liDesign and specification of software countermeasures against physical attacks such as Side-Channel Analysis (SCA) and Fault Injection (FI). /li liCollaboration with security architects and internal evaluation teams to enhance software countermeasures. /li liProviding technical leadership for cryptographic domains, driving domain evolution, influencing architectural decisions, and supporting project planning. /li liCollaboration with OS and firmware teams to ensure clean and secure integration of the cryptographic software into the final product. /li liWorking closely with the group’s test and platform support engineers to ensure maximum product quality. /li liDriving product certification activities and supporting security evaluations. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul liBSc, MSc or PhD in mathematics, cryptography, computer science, electronic/ electrical engineering, information technology or relevant discipline. /li li10+ years of relevant industry experience in cryptography and embedded security (or an equivalent combination of advanced degree and relevant experience), with strong understanding and implementation of cryptographic primitives (e.g., ECC, RSA, AES, SHA-2/SHA-3). /li liSolid experience in embedded software development using C and Assembly, and strong knowledge of microcontroller architecture (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V). /li liKnowledge of hardware and software countermeasures against side-channel and fault-injection attacks. /li liExperience in Post-Quantum Cryptography is a plus. /li liExperience with Rust is a plus. /li liStrong debugging and analysis skills. /li liYou are a proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership and a proven ability to deliver results. /li /ul pBy applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
