We handle diverse workloads, including batch and stream processing. By processing everyday terabytes of data that feed dashboards and web APIs, we empower Carrefour to leverage data-driven insights and support their business growth. /li libAt a big Pharma International Company /b, Orange Business migrated a Drug Discovery Data Platform hosted on-premises from a Hadoop stack to Azure. During the migration, we improved various data flows to reduce processing time, implemented proactive data quality checks, and optimized the CI/CD pipelines. Our efforts resulted in a more efficient and reliable platform, allowing scientists to quickly and safely assess the potential of tested molecules for new drugs development. /li libFor a Belgian public-sector data programme /b, Orange Business created a data platform and a unified set of tools for all public sector to conduct data projects, with a focus on Kubernetes and DevOps processes to enable self-service and standardization. /p h3What You’ll Do: /h3 pAll the responsibilities we’ll trust you with /p pWe are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong Python skills. You will design, implement and manage Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will build the Python tooling that ties them together, to support our client’s software development lifecycle. /p ul liDesigning, deployment, and management of Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS or GCP). /li liDeveloping Python automation and internal tools (CLI utilities, APIs, serverless functions, pipeline tasks) that make infrastructure self-service and repeatable. /li liBuilding CI/CD pipelines for Python applications: dependency management, automated testing, packaging and container images. /li liMonitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and security of our Cloud infrastructure and applications. /li liCollaborating with developers and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of software products. /li liDeveloping and maintaining technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, system configurations, and operating procedures. /li liContinuously improving the efficiency and reliability of our infrastructure and development processes, applying software engineering practices (code review, testing, version control) to infrastructure code. /li /ul h3What you bring: /h3 pWhat matters most for this role /p ul liInterest in digital transformation and data-driven solutions /li liProactive mindset and outside-the-box thinking to tackle challenges. /li liYou are able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience. /li liYou excel in interpersonal communication and know how to have a professional and commercial approach with customers. /li liYou value collaboration as a way to succeed /li liStrong communication and presentation skills in English + French or Dutch. /li /ul h3Your technical expertise: /h3 ul liA master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, a related technical field. /li liSolid professional experience in Python (3+ years): writing maintainable, tested code, managing packages and virtual environments, and testing with pytest. /li liExperience automating Cloud platforms from Python, using the Azure, AWS or Google Cloud SDKs for Python, or REST APIs. /li liA minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Automation of Cloud infrastructure deployment. /li liStrong experience with DevOps tools. /li
