Together, we're improving health and improving lives. /pBR/ pstrongEHS Manager /strong /ppLabcorp is seeking an EHS Manager to join our new CMC facility in Mechelen, Belgium. /p pstrongJob Responsibilities include: /strong /pulliAct as the site's strongInternal Prevention Advisor /strong and trusted EHS subject matter expert. /liliLead and continuously improve EHS management systems, compliance programs and site safety culture. /liliServe as strongBiological Safety Coordinator /strong, overseeing contained-use activities, biosafety risk assessments, training and regulatory submissions. /liliManage laboratory, production and contractor safety programs including risk assessments, emergency preparedness, chemical safety and incident investigations. /liliEnsure compliance with Belgian EHS, environmental and biosafety regulations, permits and corporate standards. /liliPartner with leadership teams to drive performance, deliver training and achieve EHS objectives. /liliLead audits, inspections, regulatory visits and corrective action programmes. /li /ul BR/pstrongMinimum Qualifications /strong /pullistrongPrevention Advisor Level 2 /strong certification in Belgium /lili6 or more years experience managing EHS programs within a regulated environment. /lili4 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, lab, chemical or life science environments /liliStrong knowledge of Belgian health, safety and environmental legislation. /liliExperience performing risk assessments and implementing preventive measures. /liliThe ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels. /liliBachelor's degree in science or technical field /li /ul pstrongPreferred Qualifications /strong /pulliPrevention Advisor level 1 qualification /lili6 years or more experience professional EHS work experience. /lili3 or more years experience of leading EHS processes and systems /liliProfessional memberships/certifications e.g., EBSA /lili1 or more year experience in biological safety for labs and/or bioproduction (risk assessment, containment CL2/CL3, GMO dossiers, training, incident management), with working knowledge of the Belgian contained-use requirements /li /ul BR/pstrongAdditional Job Standards /strong /pulliExcellent communication skills in strongDutch and English. /strong /liliGeneral knowledge of regional EHS laws and regulations. /liliStrong command of Belgian Well‑being at Work Code (Codex) requirements and internal service (IDPBW/ISPPW) practices. /liliStrong knowledge of regulations involving one or more laboratory EHS fields such as chemical, biological, radiation or equivalent. /liliStrong document management skills and attention to details. /liliStrong influencing and training skills. /liliProficiency in computer programs/software such as Microsoft Office. /liliMust have ability to plan, prioritize, and complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. /liliAbility to self-lead tasks to completion. /liliMust be able to work well in a team environment or independently. /liliComfortable with public speaking opportunities to varying audiences. /li /ul pAt strongLabcorp /strong, we are helping to advance healthcare and bring innovative therapies to patients worldwide.
