pOur client, a prominent organization in the transport sector, is seeking a specialist to maintain and expand their backend and endpoint infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring the continuity and efficiency of technical applications used for maintenance and diagnostics across a massive scale of endpoints. /pulliEvaluate backend and endpoint infrastructure environments to define upgrades, changes, and improvement proposals. /liliConduct feasibility studies for hardware and software solutions to meet evolving infrastructure needs. /liliDevelop technical designs in alignment with specific architectural requirements and organizational standards. /liliExecute software and hardware upgrades to ensure techniques align with user needs and project goals. /liliProvide support and maintenance for the IT infrastructure following ITIL methodologies. /liliDeliver technical advice to stakeholders to ensure correct assessment of technological possibilities and limitations. /liliParticipate in on-call rotations to guarantee optimal availability of critical systems. /li /ululliYou have 10+ years of relevant experience in system engineering within large environments of at least 100,000 endpoints. /liliYou possess expertise in software packaging for bEXE /b, bMSI /b, and bMSIX /b using tools like bInstallShield /b or bWISE /b. /liliYou bring in-depth knowledge of bIntune /b and bSCCM /b for deployment and management. /liliYou're experienced with bActive Directory /b, bGPO /b, bLDAP /b, and domain configuration. /liliYou have broad expertise in bAzure /b, including static and dynamic groups and license assignment. /liliYou possess strong scripting skills in bPowerShell /b and bVBScript /b. /liliYou bring advanced knowledge of infrastructure stacks based on bWindows /b, bMacOS /b, bLinux /b, bAndroid /b, and biOS /b. /liliYou have experience with application virtualization using bApp-V /b and bOracle VM VirtualBox /b. /liliYou possess a professional certification such as bMCSA /b, bMCSE /b, or bMCSD /b. /liliYou are fluent in bEnglish /b, bDutch /b, or bFrench /b. /li /ulh3Nice to Haves /h3ulliBroad knowledge of networking including bTCP/IP /b, brouting /b, bVLAN /b, bDNS /b, and bDHCP /b. /liliAbility to maintain security processes, policies, and standards aligned with business objectives. /liliStrong stakeholder management skills for interacting with technical and business teams. /li /ulullibStart date: /b January 1, 2027 /lilibDuration: /b project length until December 31, 2028 /lilibWork regime: /b Full-time (216 days/year) /lilibLocation: /b Brussels /lilibContract: /b open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /ul
