Security Engineer

ppThe Security Engineer/project manager is responsible for the end-to-end realization of security initiatives and projects within the Digital organization. This role combines project management, in-depth technical expertise and an advisory function to strengthen and safeguard the digital resilience of the organization within various Digital domains (Infrastructure, software development and OT). /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Security project management and realization /h3 ul liSet up, coordinate and execute security projects from A to Z. /li liDraw project plans and action plans. /li liCoordinate stakeholders and resources. /li liMonitor timing, scope and budget. /li liRealise and deliver technical solutions. /li liCombine project management and hands‑on technical implementation. /li liGuarantee quality and security-by-design principles in projects. /li /ul h3Development and implementation of security processes /h3 ul liAnalyse, define and implement security processes, procedures and controls. /li liTranslate policies into practically applicable guidelines and workflows. /li liContinuously improve existing security processes based on incident analysis, risk assessments and lessons learned. /li /ul h3Technical security expertise /h3 ul liDeploy in‑depth knowledge within modern security platforms such as Microsoft Defender suite, Entra ID / Active Directory and IAM. /li liEvaluate, configure and optimise security tools and solutions. /li liSupport troubleshooting and incident analysis on complex security issues. /li /ul h3Advisory role within Digital /h3 ul liAct as a trusted advisor for internal stakeholders within Digital’s services (Infrastructure, Software Development, OT environments). /li liAdvise on technical security implementations, architecture choices, risk assessments and mitigation measures. /li liContribute to security governance and the security organization. /li /ul h3Security frameworks and compliance /h3 ul liApply and advise on common security frameworks and standards: CyberFundamentals, NIST, CIS Controls, ISO27001. /li liSupport compliance processes and audits. /li liKnowledge of NIS2 is an important added value. /li /ul h3Incident analysis and continuous improvement /h3 ul liUse broad experience as a System Engineer to analyse and estimate incidents and events. /li liIdentify and implement structural improvements. /li liDraw up concrete improvement proposals and follow‑up after approval. /li liContribute to a proactive security posture management. /li /ul h3Security evangelism (technical) /h3 ul liPromote security policy and best practices within Digital. /li liSupport other teams and projects as a security advisor. /li /ul h3Knowledge Experience /h3 ul liDemonstrable experience in security project management and technical implementation. /li liStrong technical background within enterprise IT environments. /li liIn‑depth knowledge of security concepts, architectures and solutions. /li liExperience with security frameworks and compliance standards. /li liBroad experience as a System Engineer is essential. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liResult‑oriented and proactive attitude. /li liAnalytical and solution‑oriented. /li liGood communication and advisory skills. /li liStakeholder management and persuasiveness. /li liHands‑on mentality combined with strategic insight. /li liContinuously focused on improvement and realization. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liDigital Cybersecurity specialist /li liIdentity and Access Management (IAM) /li liNetworking /li liSecurity Architecture /li liSecurity Expertise /li liSecurity frameworks and compliance /li liSecurity Projectmanager /li /ul /p
