We are looking for personnel to join our team and support key client projects. /p h3Who we are supporting /h3 pThe NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. /p pThe NCIA provides a wide range of services, including: /p ulliCyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats. /liliCommand and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations. /liliSatellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces. /liliElectronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks. /liliInformation Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers. /li /ul pOverall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO's communication and information technology capabilities. /p h3The program /h3 h3Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS) /h3 pThe NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V. /p pTo provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce. /p h3Role ID – C /h3 h3Role Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ulliAdminister, configure enterprise-wide cloud environments (MS Azure or AWS). /liliProvide Level 2/3 support for cloud related issues, investigating and resolving operational problems in a timely manner. /li liProvision and maintain virtual machines, storage, and databases on cloud, ensuring high availability and performance. /li liManage and optimize cloud networking components like VPCs,br/subnets, route tables, VPNs, and Direct Connect. /li liAutomate the deployment and management of AWS or Azure resources using Terraform, or similar tools. /li liDevelop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks, such as instance management, backups, and scaling. /li liPerform other duties, as may be required. /li /ul h3Essential Skills, Experience and Certifications /h3 ulliSound experience with Amazon AWS cloud environment (IAM, EC2, ALB, CloudFront, CloudFormation, WAF, Monitoring, Storage, Cognito) /li liExperience with operating enterprise Azure environments (IaaS and PaaS services). /li liExperience with Azure VMs, storage accounts, virtual networks, Load Balancers and Azure monitor /li liStrong and hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers (on Cloud and on premisses) /li liExperience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). /li liProficiency in managing and securing VPC networks, firewalls, and access control. /li liKnowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus). /li liMust have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years); /li liExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with users, team members and stakeholders /li liMust demonstrate the ability and self-motivation to work on his/her own but must also work well within groups as part of a team; /li liMust demonstrate an ability and keen sense for problem-solving. /li liMotivated, good communication skills, team player. /li liAble to work independently with minimal supervision. /li liKnowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization. /li /ul h3Working Policy /h3 ulliOn-site /li /ul h3Travel /h3 ulliSome travel to other NATO sites may be required /li /ul h3Security Clearance /h3 ulliValid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance /li /ul
