Infrastructure Project Manager

pWe are seeking an experienced bInfrastructure Project Manager /b to lead and deliver a portfolio of strategic IT infrastructure projects across the EMEA region for a leading global life sciences organisation. This role requires a strong blend of infrastructure expertise, project delivery experience, and stakeholder management skills, with responsibility for driving complex initiatives from planning through to successful implementation. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliManage a portfolio of 3-5 concurrent infrastructure projects across multiple countries and business units. /liliEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. /liliDevelop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies. /liliLead project governance activities, including steering committees and executive reporting. /liliCoordinate internal technical teams, business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and external partners. /liliDrive infrastructure migration, transformation, and deployment initiatives. /liliManage project financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and CAPEX/OPEX tracking. /liliIdentify and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring alignment with business objectives. /liliCommunicate project progress and key decisions to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. /li /ulh3Projects are focused on enterprise infrastructure and may include: /h3ulliData centre and server room implementations /liliNetwork infrastructure upgrades and structured cabling projects /liliServer, storage, and virtualisation platforms /liliEnd-user workplace and Windows environment transformations /liliInfrastructure migration and consolidation programmes /liliGlobal infrastructure standardisation and strategy initiatives /li /ulh3Required Experience /h3ulliMinimum 8 years' experience in Project Management roles. /liliAt least 5 years delivering large-scale IT Infrastructure projects. /liliProven track record within complex global enterprise environments. /liliStrong experience delivering infrastructure migration, deployment, and transformation programmes. /liliAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities. /liliPrevious experience working within regulated industries is highly desirable. /li /ulh3Required Skills /h3ulliStrong technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies. /liliKnowledge of networking, servers, virtualisation, workplace technologies, and datacentre environments. /liliExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level reporting. /liliAbility to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. /liliStrong financial and commercial awareness, including CAPEX and OPEX management. /liliProactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. /liliStrong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills. /li /ulh3Certifications /h3ulliPMP and/or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification /liliITIL Foundation /liliAgile and/or SAFe certification /liliInfrastructure certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, or equivalent /li /ulh3Industry Experience /h3pExperience within one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable: /pulliPharmaceuticals /liliLife Sciences /liliMedical Devices /li /ulh3Languages /h3ulliFrench language skills are advantageous /li /ulh3Location /h3ulliHybrid working model with regular on-site presence required /liliOccasional travel across the EMEA region may be required /li /ulpbContract: /b Freelance / Contract /ppbDuration: /b Initial 12-month engagement with potential extensions. /p
