We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator and Analyst to help run and develop a hybrid ICT infrastructure. You will join a third-line team responsible for datacentre, network and security services across cloud and on-premise environments.
Your role
- Manage network equipment, segmented networks, VPN access and datacentre compute and storage.
- Monitor infrastructure, plan capacity and improve network security and resilience.
- Assess technology developments, advise on architecture and cloud solutions, and implement or support their implementation.
- Set up proofs of concept and coordinate installations and planned maintenance with ICT colleagues and external suppliers.
- Resolve complex incidents, problems and changes, maintain configuration records and document systems and processes.
You have
- At least seven years of experience in cybersecurity.
- At least seven years of experience with firewalls.
- At least one year of experience with ITIL.
- At least seven years of experience with storage.
- At least seven years of experience with network switching.
- At least seven years of experience with TCP/IP.
- At least seven years of experience with VMware.
- At least seven years of experience with Windows Server.
- Dutch at C2 level.
- English at C1 level.
A plus
- At least seven years of experience in IT system management, including work in the role within the last year.
- Knowledge of Azure.
- Knowledge of SQL Server.
- Configuration of routers.
- Configuration of load balancers.
- Knowledge of IPv4.
- Knowledge of IPv6.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and 3 routing and switching.
- Knowledge of VLANs.
- Knowledge of BGP.
- Knowledge of VRRP.
- Knowledge of LDAP.
- Knowledge of RADIUS.
- Knowledge of TACACS.
- Knowledge of VoIP.
- Knowledge of SIP.
- Knowledge of Power over Ethernet.
- Knowledge of antimalware.
- Knowledge of intrusion detection.
- Management of segmented networks, including internal and provider-side connections.
- Management of IoT networks.
- Management of wired networks using copper and fibre.
- Management of wireless networks.
- Management of VPN access.
- Management of datacentre compute and storage.
- Virtualisation of servers and desktops.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of business continuity.
- Knowledge of backup.
- Knowledge of restore procedures.
