We are looking for an experienced BI Data Engineer to join an international project focused on developing modern Data Lakehouse architectures and scalable data platforms.
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain modern Data Lakehouse and BI platforms, including open-source solutions.
- Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration workflows.
- Develop scalable data architectures across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
- Design dimensional data models for analytics and reporting.
- Implement data quality, governance, lineage and observability practices.
- Support CI/CD, version control and Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions and self-service BI capabilities.
Technical requirements
- Databases: PostgreSQL and relational database design
- Additional expertise: Data modelling, governance, monitoring, CI/CD and data quality
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Completed Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
- Excellent English; French is an advantage
- Willingness to work hybrid in Brussels
