About the Role

We are looking for an Infrastructure RFP & Services Lead to support a major infrastructure transformation initiative within a large enterprise environment.

This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong understanding of infrastructure operations with experience in service governance, managed services, vendor management, and sourcing strategies. You will work across multiple infrastructure domains, helping the organization optimize its operating model while leading a strategic RFP process for infrastructure managed services.

As a trusted advisor to infrastructure leadership, you will assess the current service landscape, identify improvement opportunities, and help define the future delivery model for infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a Strategic Infrastructure RFP

• Own the preparation, design, and delivery of a major infrastructure services RFP.
• Gather requirements from technical and business stakeholders.
• Define the future service scope, responsibilities, service levels, and governance framework.
• Conduct market assessments and support vendor evaluation and selection activities.
• Coordinate stakeholders throughout the sourcing process and support transition planning.

Assess & Improve Managed Services

Review the current managed services model and identify opportunities for improvement across:

• Infrastructure operations
• Server patch management
• Backup strategy, organization, and execution
• Operational governance
• Escalation processes
• Service quality and vendor performance management
• Service reporting and KPI management

Infrastructure Governance & Service Management

• Act as a bridge between infrastructure teams, service providers, and business stakeholders.
• Support service delivery governance and operational performance reviews.
• Ensure clear accountability, ownership, and alignment across all infrastructure services.
• Develop recommendations to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

Drive Infrastructure Transformation

Support the organization's transition towards:

• DevOps operating models
• Infrastructure automation
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Standardized operational processes
• Reduced reliance on manual activities

While contributing to transformation initiatives, you will also ensure continuity and governance around key operational services, including:

• Infrastructure patching activities
• SharePoint platforms
• Exchange environments
• Several business-critical applications

The infrastructure environment is supported by a 24/7 operational model, requiring a strong focus on reliability and service excellence.

IT / OT Convergence

A major component of the assignment will be supporting the organization's IT/OT convergence strategy.

You will help:

• Align operational processes across IT and OT environments.
• Standardize monitoring, tooling, governance, and service management practices.
• Promote the use of common enterprise platforms and operational frameworks.
• Support the development of a unified infrastructure operating model across both domains.
