Job description:
As the automotive industry transitions to electric vehicles, the need for high performance driveline solutions for those vehicles also rises. Relying on decades of experience in performance vehicle drivetrain development and production, TREMEC has taken on the challenge to provide unparalleled solutions for fun to drive electric vehicle. As a first generation of electric driveline products is being introduced to the market, the advanced engineering team researches and develops the technologies and concepts for TREMEC’s next generation of products. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a development engineer with experience in electric drive systems. This engineer will complement the electronic, electromechanical and controls skills within the team to ensure we analyze, simulate and optimize our product concepts as a whole system rather than a set of parts.
Your specific tasks include:
Benchmarking and constant learning of technology and market directionsDefining targets and requirement specifications for advanced product developmentsCooperation with suppliers on finding optimum solutionsSimulations and analysis to understand, dimension and optimize technical conceptsSupporting the development phases through risk assessment, validation, issue resolution, …Cooperation with internal departments (design, analysis, purchasing, …) to design and procure proof-of-concept prototypesTest definition and support to building and testing proof-of-concept prototypesTest data analysis, synthesis, correlation and reportingDream, think, create, try, solve, improve, innovateAbout you:
Master in engineering (/engineering and science)Prior experience with electric drive systems through job or educationEager to learn and dig deep towards technical understanding of the productStructured worker, teamplayer but able to progress independentlyInterest in all aspects of R&D, from initial idea to proof-of-concept demonstrationYou are fluent in English and knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a plusProfessional and clear communicatorYou take initiative and identify opportunities to contribute to the team’s progressAn attitude towards creating something from the ground upOur offer
