Responsabilities

This role requires a skilled Corporate Communications Manager to support Candriam's communication strategy across both internal communications and media relations.
This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing the flow of information within the company and in managing our external presence within the media.
Key responsibilities include: 

Internal Communications: Oversee the development and dissemination of internal communications, including corporate news, intranet content management, corporate newsletters, and department-specific communications, to foster a culture of transparency and engagement.  Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with the media, manage press releases and media inquiries, manage our relationship with our local PR agencies, work closely with spokespeople across our investment teams and leadership to develop messaging, and strategically position Candriam in the market to enhance our brand visibility and reputation.  Corporate and Crisis Communication: Support communication response to crises, ensuring that Candriam maintains its reputation and that leaders are supported throughout. Support the development of talking points, Q&As and client communication in relation to company developments for the client facing and investment teams.

Profile

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
-Hold a degree in Communication and/or relevant equivalent experience.
-Have at least 5 years' experience in Communication/Public Relations/financial writing within asset management/finance.
-Have mastered English to an outstanding level as an essential requirement, and with proficiency in French an advantage. Other European languages (Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, etc.) are a plus.
-Possess exceptional ability in writing and editing in English, with unrivalled capability to produce clear, engaging, and professional communication.
-Have strong storytelling and content creation skills that engages and informs a diverse audience.
-Possess strong interpersonal skills, with confidence working with senior leaders and investment professionals and act as a trusted adviser on communication topics.
-Have the ability to manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
-Have experience and understanding of the finance and asset management industry, with a keen interest in financial markets.
