With the increasing demand for our HVAC software and to best meet our customers’s needs, we are looking for an Energy Engineer to strengthen our team. You will play a pivotal role in helping our clients achieve optimal HVAC performance, while minimising their carbon footprint.

This is what your week looks like:

  • You will assist our clients to optimise their HVAC installations and heat network projects - for both new construction and renovation projects
  • To do so, you analyse existing energy systems, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions to enhance a system's efficiency
  • You will learn the ins and outs of our state-of-the-art Hysopt software with the help of experienced HVAC Engineers
  • You regularly go on (international) site visits to map out a client's installation before modelling it in our software
  • As part of the Hysopt Expert Centre, you are the first to test our newest software developments on real projects before they are transferred to our external user-base

You recognise yourself in this:

  • Master in Engineering (Energy, Electro-mechanics, HVAC) or equivalent through experience
  • Eager to get to know the world of HVAC and heat networks (even better)
  • Able to find your way quickly around new software packages
  • Enjoys contact with clients and have a customer-focused attitude
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Fluent in English – Dutch is a plus

We are Hysopt

"Hydronic System Optimisation", better known as Hysopt, is a rapidly growing spin-off from the University of Antwerp. Our highly skilled team develops and uses unique cloud software, that supports companies in their HVAC engineering process, and helps building owners optimise their HVAC systems. The purpose of our software is to heat and cool large buildings more efficiently, which helps to reduce energy costs and transfer to a zero-carbon future.
