At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Cloud Expert to join our UniQue team in Brussels.

What will you be bringing to the team?

You will be involved in the following processes:

DevSecOps:

  • Plan, implement, and upgrade DevSecOps pipelines for continuous delivery of IT applications.
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to measure and validate effectiveness.
  • Promote DevSecOps methodologies for IT projects.
  • Provide technical support and conduct research to enhance operations.

Architecture & infrastructure:

  • Define and maintain architectural frameworks, processes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with data experts to develop data-oriented architecture solutions.
  • Support technical analysis, evaluate vendor products, and review existing system architectures for cloud migration.
  • Interact with stakeholders and provide technical expertise to development teams.
  • Define and execute cloud exit strategies.

Security:

  • Design security controls, processes and procedures for systems implemented using public cloud.
  • Implement technological solutions dedicated to security and data protection in public cloud.
  • Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities.
  • Architect and design API Security, Container Security, Cloud Security.

Requirements

What will you need to succeed in this position:

  • A Masters degree and at least 10 years relevant experience
  • 5+ years experience with public cloud environments, including:
    • Migrating or building software, such as monolithic applications and microservices.
    • Designing and securing data-oriented solutions.
    • Defining, reviewing, or executing cloud exit strategies.
  • 3+ years experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including:
    • Cloud architecture and security fundamentals.
    • Containers and orchestration.
    • Networking and high availability design.
    • Multi-cloud and serverless compute.
    • Infrastructure as code.
  • 3+ years experience as a DevSecOps engineer, covering:
    • Infrastructure as code with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
    • CI/CD and pipelines using Gitlab or similar tools.
    • Docker, Kubernetes, and similar technologies.
    • Designing and implementing automation scripts with Python, Perl, bash, or similar.
    • Linux management.
  • 3+ years experience in Agile/Sprint-based IT project methodologies.
  • Proficiency in enterprise logging and monitoring solutions, log analysis, and correlation.
  • Familiarity with modular and microservices architecture patterns.
  • A good level of English (C1/C2) is required. French (B1/B2) is an asset.

Mandatory certifications (one of the below):

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional; or
  • Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP); or
  • An equivalent certification to be approved by the requesting institution
