At our Lummen site, SABCA Limburg, we are specialized in the manufacturing of high-tech composite assemblies for aircraft. On the one hand, we produce integrated

skins for flaps and stabilizers using two automatic tape-layers and very large autoclaves and of course, our colleagues’ extended know-how. In cooperation with the

Engineering office in Brussels, SABCA Limburg is also responsible for the flap track fairings of several aircraft.

On the other hand, the Space industry is also present in this plant with the final system integration of Ariane and Vega assemblies.

TASKS

- Cleaning and pre-treating the parts to be painted 

- Masking.

- Painting of primary parts: primer and topcoat.

- Painting of assembled parts: primer and topcoat.

- Local touch-up: by hand or gun.

- Equipment maintenance.

- A shift work schedule (alternating between morning and afternoon shift)

- Cooperate and take responsibility at its level regarding ISO

PROFILE

- Technical secondary or vocational education.

- You preferably have experience in the aviation sector (application of solvent and water-based paints).

- Motivated candidates with other training (e.g. bodywork) but with sufficient experience will also be considered.

- You have a sense of initiative and are able to work independently.

- You strictly apply safety regulations.

- You ensure the correct completion of administration.

- You work in a careful and structured way.

- You are medically fit to work with these specific products and to lift loads.
