Het datacenter in Brussel bevindt zich in het hart van Europa's connectiviteitskruispunt. Je zal deel uitmaken van sterk samenwerkende teams die relaties opbouwen met klanten van wereldklasse, in een goed presterend internationaal bedrijf in het hart van de digitale economie.
De Senior Customer Service Engineer rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Customer Services Manager. Intern zal je voornamelijk contact hebben met de Operations functie en de Service Planning Coördinator. Extern heb je contact met klanten en leveranciers.
Klanten vertrouwen erop dat er 24/7 betrouwbare datacenterdiensten geboden worden. Het Site Operations team fungeert als de ‘hands & eyes’ van klanten en speelt snel in op hun behoeften. Ze werken nauw samen met het internationale klantenservicecenter en installeren en testen de vitale verbindingen die essentieel zijn voor de bedrijfsactiviteiten van klanten. Het draait allemaal om inzicht in elektriciteits- en energiesystemen en databekabeling, nauwgezet werken en ervoor zorgen dat klanten tevreden blijven. Daardoor blijft je werk uitdagend en boeiend.
Functieomschrijving
De Senior Customer Service Engineer is verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van Service Requests, bijvoorbeeld Hands & Eyes services voor klanten, cross-/disconnects en onderdelen van klantimplementaties. Je monitort en documenteert klantendiensten die door externe providers worden geleverd en je begeleidt klanten die toegang vragen tot gecentraliseerde patching ruimte. Bovendien ondersteun je Service Transition (implementatie) activiteiten, onder coördinatie van de Service Design & Transition Engineer/Manager.
Andere verantwoordelijkheden zijn:
- Uitvoeren van migratie activiteiten (Labeling, Installatie, Documentatie en testen).
- Uitvoeren van operationele taken met betrekking tot incident en problem management
- Eventueel begeleiden en ondersteunen van meer junior collega's
- Informeren van klanten, Service Planning en eventueel de ECSC over de voortgang van interventies en de levering van eventuele value added services, opvolgen van beëindigingsverzoeken en vragen van klanten.
Functie-eisen
- Je hebt een technisch diploma, liefts in een elektrische richting, telecom is een plus
- Je hebt aantoonbare kennis van data-installaties en afsluitingen, kennis van algemene installatie- en reparatiewerkzaamheden
- Je hebt ervaring met het werken in een klantgericht datacenter
- Je hebt een VCA-attest of bent bereid dit te behalen
- Je bent bereid te werken in een volcontinu uurstelsel (3 ploegen, weekends, feestdagen)
- Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en Engels
- Je bent een zelfstarter, hebt oog voor detail, beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden en bent klantgericht.
- Je bent gretig om elke dag te leren en kennis op te doen, je streeft naar 100% nauwkeurigheid en je bent veerkrachtig
