Description

• Together with the team, you will be at the helm of the Broking department providing expert advice and customized insurance solutions to clients through detailed risk assessment and market-focused policy development.
• You will direct the team to negotiate insurance products with insurers, develop structured solutions for simple risks, manage claims, implement innovative solutions and maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients.

Profile

You will be considered for this role:

• If you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Law, Insurance or Risk Management, or equivalent through experience,
• If you have at least 5 years of experience in leading and motivating a team, including remotely,
• If you have experience as a specialized underwriter in business insurance, preferably with knowledge of 1 or more non-life disciplines (such as liability, fleet, property, ...),
• If you have a good knowledge of insurance products, risk assessment techniques and market analysis,
• If you have an understanding of the insurance market and current developments,
• If you have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within the insurance industry,
• If you are results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills,
• If you have strong commercial and analytical skills, including the ability to prepare and convincingly present written support (such as market analyses, portfolio analyses, etc.) for management and clients,
• If you have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
