We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Financial Auditor for one of our esteemed clients in Belgium, a leading company in the financial services sector. This role is ideal for a Dutch-speaking professional who is passionate about auditing and possesses a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform financial audits to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with applicable regulations and standards.
· Review financial records, reports, and statements to identify discrepancies, errors, or fraud.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.
· Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
· Work closely with various departments to gather necessary information and provide recommendations based on audit findings.
· Keep abreast of the latest developments in auditing standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial auditing within the financial services sector.
· A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
· Fluency in Dutch is mandatory. Proficiency in English.
· Strong knowledge of auditing software and financial analysis tools.
· Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
