Production Engineer

Doel van de functie
In deze functie maak je deel uit van het productieteam en zul je actief zijn in de afdeling waar de aluminium componenten (prismatic parts) voor de medische en lithografische sector afgewerkt worden. Naast het opstarten van nieuwe productieprocessen, producten, klanten en investeringen, zullen ook het continu verbeteren en het technisch/kwalitatief optimaliseren van de productie en de volledige supply chain tot je takenpakket behoren.
Jouw opdracht
Je leidt technische projecten (nieuwe processen, investeringen, opstart nieuwe business/klanten) en bent daarbij verantwoordelijk voor scope, budget, team, resources, project opvolging met milestones, tot en met finale overdracht aan productie. Je optimaliseert de bestaande productieprocessen: automatisatie van manuele activiteiten zoals ontbramen, cleaning, visuele inspectie enz. world-class CNC-verspaningsproces met de nieuwste technologieën. Je screent de productie-activiteiten op kwaliteit, productiviteit, kost, veiligheid en processtabiliteit en neemt initiatieven ter verbetering. Je past je praktische en theoretische kennis van continuous improvement technieken zoals PFMEA, Kaizen, Lean en SMED, in teamverband toe. Je gaat indien nodig op zoek naar proces-innovaties en houdt daarvoor nauw contact met tehnologie-leveranciers, machinebouwers, beurzen, onderzoeksgroepen, zusterbedrijven, in binnen- en buitenland. Je geeft technologische ondersteuning en training aan operatoren, andere afdelingen, leveranciers en klanten. Je rapport aan de Business Unit Manager Prismatic Parts.
