As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This position is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Your main tasks will be :



  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and company policies.


  • General Ledger Management:
    • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
    • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.


  • Audit and Compliance:
    • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.


  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Analyze financial performance against budget and provide variance explanations.


  • Taxation:
    • Prepare and review tax filings, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns.
    • Liaise with tax authorities and advisors as necessary.


  • Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.


  • Team Leadership:
    • Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

The profile we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in corporate finance or accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in office software
  • Proficiency in Chinese, a very good level of French and a good level in English
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • You're ready to work for a start-up (flexibility, polyvalent minded)
