To strengthen our Group Engineering team, based in Limelette, Belgium , we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Cost Estimate and Schedule Specialist.

About the role

As a Cost Estimate and Schedule Specialist , you willreport to our Corporate Engineering Director and be part of the Technical & Manufacturing department. You will be be able to ensure the cost estimate and scheduling for major projects from 30 to 600 M€ (international) for both our core process (stone preparation, burning and final product preparation for lime) and for the innovative carbon capture ones (flue gas cleaning, waste water treatment, biomass or alternative fuel preparation, gas transport and terminal ling). You have a good technical background and you are mastering the requested cost estimate, control and scheduling methods for supporting CAPEX investment decision according to the CAPEX stage gate procedure. You are keen to share it within the engineering family of the Group.

You will also be responsible to apply, roll out and maintain Group standards, while stimulating collaboration and the sharing of best practices across the Group.

Your role and responsibilities :  

Supervise the preparation and validate all the cost estimate and scheduling works prepared by the Project Managers of the engineering family.

Define, prepare and sustain a cost database for supporting the cost estimate activities.

Work with the Corporate Engineering Director to design, implement, and monitor a comprehensive Cost estimate methodology package aimed at enhancing Industrial Engineering performance across LHOIST Group.

Prepare or supervise the establishment of the material support requested for spreading the Methods and Standards relating to his perimeter within the Region and Division of the Group.

Propose an execution plan for deploying specific trainings aiming to reinforce technical Expertise relating to the cost estimate, control and scheduling.
 

About you:  

Master in Industrial Engineering

Min. 10 years of experience in the industrial sector and within an international environment

Experience in a similar position

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Proactive and results-oriented approach with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Willingness to work in a corporate industrial engineering environment.

Good knowledge of Industrial Project Management.

Mastering planning and cost estimate&control for Industrial Projects.

English proficiency, any other language is a plus.
