Rolbeschrijving:

We are seeking for a construction manager Civil Maintenance. As a construction manager, you are:
Interested in fully following both the preparatory and execution phases.
Willing to tackle both small repairs (e.g., leaking roof, broken floor slab) and complete projects (complete roof replacement, complete road reconstruction,).
Focus on the organizational challenge of the works (due to the large number of small works and projects with a significant impact on the user) rather than the technical complexity of the works.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities :
You are responsible for the organization and follow-up of:
Repairs & maintenance works on existing structures
Small & medium-sized civil renovation projects at a industrial site.

Repairs & maintenance works :
Independently manage daily repair notifications in SAP.
Establish safe and qualitative repair methods in consultation with production services (clients) and (in-house) contractors (executors).
Complete follow-up of execution, including quality control & strict compliance with safety regulations (Seveso-site).
Full management of administrative aspect: creating orders (Ariba) and work permits (Sharepoint), support during registrations (OnyxOne), control and approval of cost sheets (Excel).
Leading meetings with internal clients to follow up on large amounts of small tasks structured and efficiently.
Projects:
Collaborate with project manager, project engineer, and designer when setting up the execution file; conducting measurements; initiating price inquiries; analyzing quotes.
Set up meetings between stakeholders & report to project manager.
Completely independent management of all administrative documentation: quotes, orders, work permits, registrations, progress statements & timesheets.
Provide advice on renovation techniques after consulting executors.
Example projects:
o Replacement of asbest-containing roofs & facades of industrial halls.
o Renewal of intersections and complete roads in concrete and asphalt pavements.
o Repair and replacement of profiles of various types of pipe-racks.
o Replacement of concrete retaining walls and floors of storage boxes.

Technical profile requirements
Min 5yrs Experience in supervising and executing construction works or site activities.
Bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering or equivalent by experience.
Strong focus on safety and familiarity with safety standards in the construction industry and Seveso environments.
Strong communication skills, customer- and result-oriented.
Experience with site meetings and reporting skills.
Proficiency with MS Office
