For our field office located in Bruges or in Wetteren we are looking for a Grid Maintenance Coordinator (m/v/x).

The Grid Department is responsible for managing Fluxys Belgium's transmission system, ensuring the supply of gas to end users at all times and guaranteeing the safety of facilities, the environment and employees. More specifically, the department's work encompasses the inspection, operation and maintenance of the pipeline network and associated facilities, such as valve junctions and pressure-reducing stations. The Grid Department is divided into five geographical areas, with technical and administrative support provided by central teams.

Job
respon­sibilities

You will be responsible for coordinating and preparing inspection and maintenance work on our pipelines in the North-West Area, including coordinating, preparing and planning patrols, and looking after the demarcation of our network You will also be in charge of coordinating and managing 'straightforward' third-party works occurring in the vicinity of our infrastructure. Working with these third parties, you will prepare the associated administrative and technical documents (e.g. plans, implementation method, specific safety measures) and organise meetings on site between the contractors and our patrollers You will actively help analyse and resolve technical problems and any violations/anomalies identified on our network. You will also help prepare letters and information/awareness-raising sessions for third parties You will guarantee the availability of the necessary resources and equipment and/or orders. You will make sure that orders are placed on time and that equipment is in proper working order You will ensure that the content and description of documents on 'straightforward' third-party works and inspection and maintenance activities are of high quality and are clear and accurate You will make certain that work and new pipeline connections run smoothly, taking into account the established safety measures, and that the procedures in place to guarantee the safety of our facilities and employees are applied correctly You will be actively involved in team meetings and will discuss/present topics relating to your tasks and/or area of expertise Together with the relevant teams (Engineering, HSEQ, Central Team, etc.), you will deal with certain administrative processes such as updating plans, documents or SAP and compiling files You will undergo a learning process that will ultimately allow you to participate in corrective actions involving any facility in the area (pressure-reducing stations/pipelines)

About you

An A2 diploma or Bachelor's degree in a technical field Relevant experience in a technical coordination or planning role in an industrial environment A meticulous approach to your work and a desire to learn, as well as a dynamic mindset and a sense of diplomacy Very good communication skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently An excellent command of Dutch; knowledge of French would be an asset Proficiency in MS Office and SAP

Additionally, this role requires:

A willingness to ultimately be on call and on standby A residence within 30 minutes of our headquarters in Bruges or in Wetteren A category B driving licence and your own vehicle
