Do you also love fries and are looking for a new challenge? Our client is a leading player in the production and development of potato-based delicacies. Due to further growth of the Wielsbeke site, we are looking for a Production Technician in night shift.

  • As a 2-shift production technician, you are responsible for the optimal technical functioning of the production lines.
  • First, you provide the necessary preventive maintenance of the installations, so that any mechanical and/or electro-technical problems can be detected in time and the continuous proper functioning of the installation can be assured.
  • In addition, you expertly repair malfunctions on installations so that production stoppages can be reduced to a minimum.
  • Correct fault analysis and adequate repair are crucial for this. Thanks to your broad technical knowledge of mechanics, electricity, measurement & control technology, limited PLC controls, etc., you provide the necessary technical assistance to shift managers and production operators, so that our machines can be used optimally.
  • You are managed by the technical production department responsible and are in very close contact with the production manager, the production process engineer, the production shift managers and the production operators.
Profile

  • You are technically trained (bachelor or A2 education or equivalent through experience) and have a keen interest in engineering.
  • You can look back on several years of relevant work experience as a technician, preferably within a production environment. 
  • Obviously, experience within a food company is a strong asset.
  • You are willing to work in the night shift
  • Safety, order & tidiness, discipline and punctuality characterise you.
