Working in the Fiber Design team:

You’ll land in the Fiber Design team, where solutions are created for all required connectivity needs. These needs come from the customers of different business requests, from the fiber-nodes feeding our coax network, from the backhauling of the FTTH traffic, or from the mobile subscribers communicating via the radio network thanks to the access sites connected on fiber. 

We implement activities and solutions based upon guidelines from engineering; we translate these theoretical rules to the operational reality and stipulates how to build solutions.


Your responsibilities as a Fiber Engineer:

As a Fiber Engineer your focus is all about implementing fiber technology near you Our goal: connecting people and businesses. As a Fiber engineer you hold the unique position in which you design solutions (from high-level up to detailed design) to meet the ever-increasing fiber demand, combined with assistance of the execution. Next to that, you embrace new fiber technology & materials and deploy them optimally.


Our ideal Fiber Engineer:

You have no trouble communication in English, Dutch and/or French are a plus.  You obtained a technical education and/or have relevant work experience.  Basic knowledge of telecommunication, with a focus on fiber topology, is an advantage.  You’re an excellent planner and organizer.  Your analytic skills and have the power to think of solutions. You have a history of learning and are quick to do so.  You’re solid as a rock and can put some assertiveness on the line if necessary.
