Technical Specialist

You assist the Senior Technical Expert by focusing on both practical and conceptual tasks, such as (but not limited to) site visits, monitoring installation works, pre-work and product analysis, and technical presentations.

You will be responsible for the following:

Site visits, on-site sampling, diagnostic, offering solutions Support the sales team for technical advises Write technical reports Validation of the quality of works carried out by the roofing contractors Execute the necessary project calculations (Bill of Materials, Wind Uplift Resistance, Moisture content and Vapor barrier) Update of technical documentation Participate to the day-to-day operational and administrative features

Profiel

The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

At least 5 years’ experience in roofing industry Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in construction or equivalence through experience Strong expertise in waterproofing membranes and flat roof installations Bilingual Dutch and French, with a good knowledge of English Capacity to work independently and rigorously, reliable Affinity with practical work / site experience. Hands-on behavior Team spirit & open minded Knowledge of the usual IT tools (Office Suite)
