Accounts Receivable Accountant
To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for an accurate and motivated Accounts Receivable Accountant
Are you passionate about soccer and numbers? Do you want to be part of a driven team within Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht where passion for the game and business efficiency come together? As a professional soccer club, we operate in an industry that is highly regulated financially. Given the license conditions, the finance department must be on the ball and ensure that our financial and accounting transactions are in full compliance with the regulatory framework. This work off the soccer field is crucial to RSC Anderlecht's ability to perform as a top club on the soccer field.
Responsibilities:
You process sales invoices and monitor the timely and correct collection of outstanding invoices You follow up on payment reminders and arrangements You are responsible for processing financial transactions You perform monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable accounts You perform various analyses and reports and ensure correct follow-up of master data You will work with other departments to ensure smooth financial administration You keep customer data up-to-date You will assist with the internal and external audit You are the contact person for customers with questions or problems You actively participate in ad hoc projects You report to the finance manager & CFO on accounts receivable balances and potential risks
What do we expect from you?
A degree in accounting or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel You have an analytical mindset and are results-oriented Accurate, reliable, driven and able to work independently Knowledge of French, Dutch and English
