Can’t wait to make an impact on the world? You’re not alone. Join us in driving progress in the working world and beyond.
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Belgium-based team and help build and operate enterprise-grade DevSecOps platforms for our (international) clients. In this hands-on role, you will work within a team of likeminded individuals, delivering the secure, scalable (cloud) platforms that enable development teams to ship mission-critical software efficiently while meeting stringent compliance and security requirements.
You will spend most of your time building and running both on-prem and cloud platforms, by automating infrastructure with code, engineering CI/CD pipelines, hardening Kubernetes, and keeping the platforms stable in environments with multiple data classification levels. You will work alongside senior platform engineers, security specialists, and development teams, translating platform standards and security requirements into working, well-documented components. Your T-shaped profile — solid hands-on depth in platform engineering combined with a broadening understanding of cloud, security, and automation — will allow you to take ownership of your part of the platform and grow into wider technical responsibility.

Your journey with us
In This Position, You Will
- Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and secure software delivery toolchains used by development teams across the programme
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules (such as Terraform or Bicep) for landing zones, networking, and platform services, following the agreed architectural standards
- Deploy, operate, and harden Kubernetes clusters and container workloads, applying baseline security configurations suitable for regulated and classified environments
- Automate recurring operational work — provisioning, patching, certificate rotation, environment refreshes — to reduce manual effort and configuration drift
- Integrate security tooling into the delivery pipeline (SAST/DAST, dependency and container scanning, policy-as-code) and support teams in remediating findings
- Implement and maintain secrets management, identity and access controls, and zero-trust patterns across platform layers
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting; participate in incident response, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Act as a day-to-day technical contact for development teams using the platform, resolving platform issues and supporting onboarding of new teams
- Write and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and self-service guidance so that development teams can use the platform independently
- Contribute to cyber security assessments, accreditations, and audits by preparing evidence and implementing remediation within the platform
- Participate in code and design reviews, share knowledge with peers, and continuously build your technical expertise within the team
