Senior C Software Engineer

An innovative high-tech engineering company based near Antwerp is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its growing R&D team.
Working on complex, real-time software solutions for advanced communication and data processing systems, you'll be part of a collaborative engineering environment where you'll contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge technology used in highly demanding applications.
Develop high-performance real-time software applications using C/C on Linux.
Design and implement Linux system software, including kernel device drivers and communication protocols.
Contribute to software architecture and technical design across multiple product platforms.
Develop monitoring, control and user interface applications.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust software solutions.
Represent the engineering team at technical meetings or industry events where required.
Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent commercial experience).
Strong commercial experience developing software in C/C on Linux .
Experience building high-performance, multi-threaded real-time applications.
Experience with high-speed data transfer technologies such as PCIe, DMA or DPDK would be advantageous.
Exposure to modern web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular or similar frameworks is beneficial.
