Finance Manager | Full Mandate, Full Budget | Tech Scale-up | Brussels

After a mix of audit, controlling and finance management, you know exactly which closings run a day too long, which tools from 2018 should be replaced, and which cash forecasts only click on the third rework. What you have not had yet, is a CFO who says: go do it.

That is this role.

Our partner is a scale-up in the technology sector with operations in Belgium (HQ in Brussels). The finance function needs to catch up with the business. The budget is cleared, the agenda is defined, and the CFO is bringing in the person who will run it. Direct reporting line to the CFO with a seat at the Executive Committee.

Your impact as Finance Manager

• Full ownership of accounting, closing, consolidation and reporting across the Belgian perimeter
• Leadership of the finance transformation across ERP, reporting and process automation, with a mandate to cut the close cycle and remove manual work.
• Rolling cash forecast built with best and worst case scenarios the CFO uses at the Executive Committee
• Project profitability run with P&L by project, product and country, translating the numbers into decisions the business acts on
• Compliance, internal control and finance governance strengthened across the group perimeter

You own everything finance touches in this business.

Your profile as Finance Manager

• Master in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent
• Fluent in French or Dutch and English
• Minimum of 7 years of finance experience across audit, controlling & finance management

• Salary up to €110.000 gross per year, depending on experience
