After a few years in pure M&A, Transaction Services or investment banking, you know how to spot a solid file from the first call, you know when a process stalls because nobody is pushing it, and you know what it feels like to carry out due diligence without ever seeing the rest of the deal. What you have not had yet, is a seat at the table from A to Z, in a firm that invests in you for tomorrow rather than for an immediate return.

That is this role.

This independent M&A advisory firm has been active for more than twenty years in the small and mid-cap segment. The team stays deliberately human-sized, with seniors directly involved on every file rather than a classic pyramid structure. You join a team of specialists working directly with partners and management across the full deal.

Your impact as M&A Associate

Building industry and company analysis materials to support the origination process
Identifying potential buyers or acquisition targets, on both sell-side and buy-side
Building valuation models, DCF, listed comparables, precedent transactions
Managing the client relationship throughout the execution process
Contributing to lead and prospect generation for the business development team

You are less and less an executor of the process, and more and more an actor in the deal.

Your profile as M&A Associate

Masters in finance, economics or management, strong academic track record
4 to 8 years of experience in M&A, Transaction Services, investment banking or private equity
Strong financial modeling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills
Fluent in French and English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus

Salary up to €84,000 gross/year, depending on experience
