Senior Product Owner – Data Platform
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Contract: 6-month contract (starting August 2026)
We're seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of a strategic Data Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the evolution of a key enterprise platform that supports reporting, analytics, AI, and data governance initiatives.
Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and Agile delivery teams, you'll translate business needs into a clear product strategy, manage priorities, and ensure the platform delivers measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and strategic priorities for the Data Platform.
- Own and continuously prioritise the Product Backlog, balancing business demand, technical sustainability, regulatory requirements, and delivery capacity.
- Engage with business stakeholders and platform users to understand requirements, manage expectations, and drive alignment.
- Work closely with developers, analysts, architects, and the Scrum Team to refine requirements and deliver high-quality product outcomes.
- Monitor platform adoption and product performance, using feedback and data to continuously improve the platform and roadmap.
- Communicate priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar product leadership role.
- Strong experience defining product vision, managing roadmaps, and prioritising work based on business value.
- Exposure to data platforms, analytics, business intelligence, AI, or data governance environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Octane, or Klaxoon.
- Fluent English is essential; French and/or Dutch would be an advantage.
