Position overview:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and managing the weekly and long-range production schedules for the Kit Production team. This role ensures the efficient use of resources, alignment of production plans with material availability, and adherence to customer and internal deadlines. The Master Scheduler acts as the key liaison between Production, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to balance capacity, resolve constraints, and optimize workflow across all manufacturing work centers.
Main Responsibilities:

Develop,publish,andmaintainthemasterproductionscheduleforallKitProductionworkcenters,ensuringalignmentwithdemandrequirementsandcapacityconstraints.

Level-loadproductionschedulestooptimizeresourceutilization,minimizedowntime,andmeetservice levelexpectations.

Ensurefinalmaterialreadinessfrommaterialsteampriortoworkorderrelease.

Releaseandtrackworkordersthroughmanufacturing,maintainingvisibilitytowork-in-processinventory,andidentifyingissuesthatmayimpactscheduleadherence.

Collaboratecloselywithmanufacturing,quality,andmaterialsteamstoproactivelyidentifyandresolvebottlenecks,capacitylimitations,andsupplyshortages.

Monitordailyandweeklyprogressagainstplan,adjustingschedulesasneededtoaccommodatechangingpriorities,equipmentavailability,ormaterialconstraints.

Coordinatecross-functionallywithSupplyChain, Procurement,andWarehouseteamstoensureon-timeavailabilityofrequiredmaterialsandcomponents.

Communicatescheduleupdates,risks,andrecoveryplanstostakeholders,providingclearvisibilityintoproductionstatus.

Supportcontinuousimprovementbyanalyzingscheduleperformancemetricsandcontributingtoprocessenhancementsinplanning,scheduling,andcapacitymanagement.

Participateinorleadproblem-solvingandroot-causeanalysisrelatedtomissedcommitments,materialdelays,orproductioninefficiencies.

Providerecommendationsforimprovingschedulingtools,systems,andmethodologiestoachievebest-in-classplanningperformance.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
