Senior Project Manager

We would like to meet a Senior Project Manager for a hybrid project based in Mons.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Manage projects to ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk tolerances.

🔹 Develop and maintain project plans, resource plans, and detailed stage plans in accordance with recognized project management methodologies and organizational standards.

🔹 Coordinate and manage project resources, ensuring the right skills are deployed at the right time to achieve project milestones.

🔹 Understand client requirements, perform analysis, resolve issues, and ensure solutions meet business needs.

🔹 Develop procurement strategies, business cases, benefit-risk assessments, and funding proposals.

🔹 Monitor project financial performance and manage project-related procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.

🔹 Execute quality assurance activities to ensure successful delivery of services and capabilities.

🔹 Prepare and deliver project status reports and presentations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

🔹 Manage internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure project success.

🔹 Support organizational initiatives and provide leadership across project teams when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

OR

✅ Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in project management roles where formal education requirements are compensated by significant professional expertise.

✅ Formal Project Management Certification:

• PRINCE2 Practitioner
• PMI PMP
• Equivalent internationally recognized certification

✅ Minimum 5 years of recent experience successfully delivering projects within large and preferably international organizations.

Required Skills:

✔ Strong project governance, planning, and delivery expertise

✔ Extensive experience with project management tools and reporting platforms

✔ Budget management, procurement, and financial control experience

✔ Risk management, issue management, and quality assurance expertise

✔ Stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills

✔ Supplier and contract management experience

✔ Negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

⭐ Agile Project Management Certification (AgilePM, Scrum Master, Scrum Practitioner)

⭐ ITIL V3 or ITIL 4 Certification

⭐ Experience managing large-scale ICT projects involving:

• Data Centres
• Enterprise Networks
• Cyber Security Solutions
• End User Computing Services
• Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure

⭐ Experience working within multinational environments comprising both civilian and military stakeholders

⭐ Knowledge of procurement and acquisition processes for ICT projects

⭐ Familiarity with international standards and best practices related to technology project delivery.
