Engineering teams run on the things nobody sees: the change paperwork that gets filed on time, the mailbox where nothing goes unanswered, the portal that actually holds the current version. A multinational defence organisation is looking for the person who owns all of that for a security engineering team. What you would be doing Following vendor releases,...

A multinational defence organisation moves data between networks of different classifications, and the equipment that makes that safe needs an engineer who understands both the boxes and the boundary they enforce. You would join the gateway security team and take central ownership of those systems. What you would be doing Administering and configuring...

Before data can be brought into a platform, somebody has to find it, agree it and write down what was agreed. That is this role: a discovery lead who is equally comfortable running a site survey, chairing a governance session and keeping a clean paper trail. What you would be doing Leading discovery across roughly 155 internal data source owners —...

Where: Fully on-site in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.Would you like to join the leading international intergovernmental organisation?Behind every decision NATO makes sits data, and behind that data sit the databases you'd own. This is a production DBA post on open source engines: PostgreSQL and MySQL, standalone and clustered, across development, test and live. It is the unglamorous half of database work — the half where replication lag, lock contention and a badly planned query decide whether anyone else can do their job today. What You Would Be Doing Install, configure,...

Satellite links behave nothing like the rest of a network: the latency is fixed by physics, the bandwidth is expensive, and the failure modes are their own discipline. This post provides the engineering behind those links and their integration into the wider IP estate — architecture and design at one end, and end-to-end fault diagnosis at the other. The...

This is a senior post on an enterprise network large enough that the interesting problems are not configuration but consequence: what a change does three hops away, why an incident recurs, and which repetitive task should stop being done by hand. It runs from design through daily operations to the moment something breaks badly and you are the one leading the...

This is the engineering post behind a cyber security application service: keeping it running day to day, deploying what changes, moving the data in and out, and building the reporting people actually open. Under the service area owner, you would carry the whole of it rather than one slice. Part of the appeal is timing — the service is still bedding in, so...

Deployable communications infrastructure has an unforgiving test: it either works in the field, on the exercise, when it is needed, or it does not. This role is the senior engineering contribution to that — design and build in a DevOps environment, then go and prove it. It is explicitly a senior post. You would be the person junior engineers escalate to,...

Most organisations can scan. Far fewer can say what the scans mean, who owns each finding and whether anything was fixed. A multinational defence organisation is looking for the analyst who closes that gap — half security assessment, half data engineering, and the coordination that turns a report into a repaired system. What you would be doing Reading the...

A multinational defence organisation runs its core business services on Oracle E-Business Suite, and it is looking for an applications database administrator to take ownership of that estate. You would work under the service owner and service delivery manager, on-site in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium. What you will do Take responsibility for the assigned business...

You will build and maintain the integrations around BMC Helix ITSM at the alliance headquarters in Brussels, as part of a dedicated capacity team. What you will be doing Designing, building and maintaining integrations between BMC Helix and the surrounding estate Working with APIs,...

A multinational defence organisation is expanding the commercial training portfolio it sells to external customers, and it needs a coordinator who can hold the whole delivery chain together: the customer, the instructors, the room, the purchase order and the record in the system. This is an on-site assignment in Mons, Belgium. What you will do Act as the...
