We willen als publieke dienstverlener een sleutelrol spelen op het vlak van mobiliteit en zo een essentiële schakel vormen op sociaaleconomisch gebied. Iedereen heeft elke dag recht op en nood aan mobiliteit: om naar het werk of naar school te gaan of in de vrije tijd. We willen alle klanten een veilige, betrouwbare en duurzame mobiliteit aanreiken, van deur tot deur, en waarbij onze treinen een centrale plaats innemen als vervoermiddel bij uitstek voor grote groepen reizigers tussen grote centra en in voorstadsgebied en ook ter ontsluiting van meer landelijke gebieden.
De NMBS speelt een cruciale rol in duurzame mobiliteit in België en stelt daarom haar klanten op de eerste plaats.
Onze ambitie is om op korte termijn een belangrijke speler te worden op het gebied van mobiliteit.
De bedrijfscultuur begint in deze richting te veranderen. Professionaliteit, respect, samenwerking en ondernemerschap zijn de vier waarden die als een rode draad door al ons handelen lopen. Onze medewerkers zijn gemotiveerd om samen te bouwen aan de NMBS van de toekomst.
De directie Passengers Transport & Security (B-PT) is verantwoordelijk voor het verzamelen van de mobiliteitsnoden en het ontwerpen van een klantgericht transportplan, de treinbegeleiding, de communicatie met de reizigers, corporate security services en de organisatie van de reizigersfluxen in de stations, met inbegrip van het onthaal van personen met beperkte mobiliteit.
De dienst “Transportplan” van deze directie staat in voor de planning, de opvolging en de aanpassing van het treinaanbod voor het reizigersvervoer in België. Dit aanbod wordt bepaald op vraag van de overheid (reguliere treinen) en de commerciële activiteit (speciale treinen). Jaarlijks wordt de dienstregeling aangepast.
Binnen deze dienst is een ‘Analyst Mobility & Strategy' gezocht.
Als Analyst Mobility & Strategy voer je de volgende taken uit:
- Je verzamelt en rangschikt informatie over mobiliteit en de ontwikkeling daarvan met het doel gestructureerde ruimtelijke databanken aan te leggen.
- Je voert ruimtelijke analyses uit als onderdeel van mobiliteits- en ontwikkelingspotentieelstudies rond huidige of toekomstige stations met behulp van Python.
- Je analyseert verschillende demografische, socio-economische en geografische gegevens alsook andere relevante gegevens en trends om een zo goed mogelijk inzicht te verwerven in de kenmerken en de verwachte evolutie van de vraag van onze huidige en potentiële klanten en om onze markt te ontwikkelen.
- Je neemt deel aan de uitvoering van verschillende soorten transportstudies; je analyseert het belang dat de (potentiële) klanten hechten aan de verschillende aspecten van het aanbod.
- Je analyseert het reisgedrag van huidige en potentiële reizigers. Op basis van deze analyses bouw en bedien je simulatiemodellen met behulp van Python.
Waarom is deze job iets voor jou ?
- Referentiegraad adviseur : Je bent in het bezit van een masterdiploma.
- Referentiegraad burgerlijk of industrieel ingenieur : Je bent in het bezit van een masterdiploma burgerlijk ingenieur of industrieel ingenieur.
- Referentiegraad bio-ingenieur : Je bent in het bezit van een diploma bio-ingenieurswetenschappen.
Toegangsvoorwaarden:
- Je beschikt over vaardigheden met betrekking tot de hierboven beschreven taken. Je hebt een masterdiploma met een sterke wetenschappelijke component, zoals een diploma in geografie,
(bio-)ingenieur, informatica of transportmanagement. Relevante werkervaring is een pluspunt.
Als je je diploma in het buitenland behaald hebt, moet je in het bezit zijn van een gelijkwaardigheidsattest afgeleverd door de Vlaamse Gemeenschap om aan de selectie te kunnen deelnemen.
Het spreekt voor zich dat je voor deze functie over een aantal basisvaardigheden moet beschikken. De volgende competenties willen we specifiek benadrukken:
Technische competenties:
- Een grondige kennis van Python en zijn belangrijkste bibliotheken, vooral degene die nuttig zijn bij gegevensanalyse, is vereist.
- Ervaring met discrete keuzemodellering (logit, nested-logit,) is een pluspunt.
- Je hebt een goede kennis van Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Kennis van de vervoersector en de spoorwegindustrie in het bijzonder is een pluspunt.
- Je kent of bent bereid een opleiding te volgen in het gebruik van specifieke tools en software.
- Je beheerst het Nederlands en/of het Frans perfect. Je kunt ook gesprekken volgen in de andere taal. en eraan deelnemen. Je begrijpt vlot teksten die in het Engels zijn opgesteld.
- Je kan efficiënt communiceren, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
Gedragscompetenties:
- Je werkt graag met cijfers en tools voor ruimtelijke analyse.
- Je kunt problemen analyseren. Je ontwikkelt een coherent inzicht in de verschillende aspecten van het probleem en je gaat systematisch op zoek naar bijkomende info om het probleem op te lossen.
- Je werkt graag in een team en deelt graag je kennis.
- Je staat open voor verandering.
- Je bent leergierig en volgt met plezier bijkomende opleidingen.
- Je bent resultaatgericht en zoekt steeds naar de beste manier om de vooropgestelde doelen te bereiken en past indien nodig de middelen aan.
- Je coördineert en organiseert je taken (je pakt die praktisch en gestructureerd aan, je bepaalt prioriteiten en houdt je aan deadlines enz.).
- Je neemt initiatief en werkt proactief.
- Je bent klantgericht en biedt optimale oplossingen voor specifieke vragen van klanten.
- Je handelt in het belang van de onderneming en draagt actief bij tot de verwezenlijking van de bedrijfsdoelstellingen.
