Are you ready to be at the ForeFront of procurement transformation? This is a dynamic opportunity to join a procurement team that is embracing agility, driving strategic value, and mitigating risks across the supply chain.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to step into the role of Buyer - Professional Services & Operational IT Projects.

In this role, you will lead procurement initiatives that:

Optimize supplier portfolios.

Enhance Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Drive supplier performance to exceed industry standards.

Your contributions will directly impact the company's financial success and foster a culture of cost-consciousness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate on category strategies alongside Senior Buyers.

Manage the sourcing process (RFX) in alignment with strategic objectives, optimizing TCO and delivering value for internal stakeholders.

Understand and translate internal client needs into clear specifications, maintaining a regular presence at various locations to foster collaboration.

Select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and category strategies.

Support internal teams with contract management and ongoing supplier relationships.

Evaluate supplier performance and provide recommendations for improvements.

Stay informed about industry trends and supplier market dynamics.

Actively participate in refining procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

What you bring

A Master's degree and at least 5 years of experience in procurement or project procurement.

Expertise in managing RFX processes and negotiating contracts autonomously.

Strong project management skills, with a proven track record in stakeholder engagement.

Experience with procurement of professional services (e.g., consultants) and affinity with IT projects is highly desirable.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and networking skills.

Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in Dutch or French
