The family company Stadsbader was founded in 1946 in Harelbeke. In the meanwhile, the company is directed by third generation Dominique Valcke.
The acquisitions of Deckx AO and Deckx EM in Dessel (2009), Van Maercke Prefab in Kluisbergen (2014) and BAM Contractors (2022) were a strong expansion of the specialisation segments and a reinforcement of the market position.
Today the group is daily active in about 250 construction sites in Belgian and the neighbouring countries.
Voor het prestigieuze VTTI Oosterweel-project zijn wij op zoek naar een Design Engineer.
Je gaat deel uitmaken van een dynamisch team (Verkeers- en Tunnel Technische Installaties, afgekort VTTI) van engineers, project managers en specialisten die de technische installaties in de tunnelcomplexen aan het ontwerpen zijn en ook zal instaan voor het begeleiden van het bouwen, testen en indienststellen ervan. Je speelt een cruciale rol in het leveren van hoogwaardige ontwerpen op de diverse onderdelen binnen het project die voldoen aan de huidige normen en duurzaamheidseisen.
- Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van technische installaties en structuren voor tunnels en bijbehorende gebouwen, zoals ventilatie- en onderhoudsgebouwen, conform de Belgische bouw- en veiligheidseisen.
- Integreren van tunneltechnieken zoals ventilatiesystemen, verlichting, brandpreventiesystemen, en nooduitgangen en vluchttechnieken in het tunnelontwerp en de bijhorende gebouwen.
- Opstellen van technische rapporten en documentatie ter ondersteuning van de projectuitvoering en bijhouden van alle ontwerpaanpassingen en updates.
- Regelmatig rapporteren aan de projectmanager over de voortgang, knelpunten en risico's binnen het technische ontwerp.
- Oplossen van technische uitdagingen tijdens de ontwerpfase en de uitvoering, met oog voor kostenefficiëntie en veiligheid.
- Aangeleverde en opgestelde documenten/producten analyseren op kwaliteit van het engineeringsdossier alvorens de interne workflow van start gaat.
- Tijdens realisatie en uitvoering van dit project het uitvoeringsteam bijstaan en zal je technische vragen kunnen beantwoorden ter ondersteuning.
- Proactief identificeren van verbeterpunten in de uitvoering van technische installaties en processen.
- Bachelorsdiploma in Elektromechanica, Bouwkunde, of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
- Ervaring met projectmanagementtools en -methodologieën, system engineering bij voorkeur in een infrastructuuromgeving.
- Kennis van CAD-software (zoals AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) is een pluspunt.
- Je kan zelfstandig werken, toont de nodige flexibiliteit en bent een echte doorzetter.
- Vloeiende beheersing van het Nederlands, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk; kennis van Engels en Frans is een meerwaarde.
