Description As functional analyst, you are part of a cross-functional, Agile team. Together, you design and develop qualitative applications to address the quickly evolving customer needs; an exciting and versatile challengeIn this role, you will focus on initiatives related to consumer loans, with a particular emphasis on the loan simulation tool used by car dealers. You help ensure that loan products, calculations, and customer journeys are accurately translated into high-quality functional solutions.You shape the functional requirements and propose multiple feasible solutions, evaluating the pros and cons of eachYou translate business needs related to consumer loan products, pricing rules, credit acceptance flows and simulation logic into clear functional specificationsYou design the chosen solution in detail according to the architectural roadmap and share it with your squadYou provide further clarification and support to the developersYou create and maintain clear documentationYou provide support during the implementation and post-implementation phase, including support to loan-simulation users such as car dealersYour strengthsYou are result- and solution-drivenYou are quick to make connections, dare to challenge and strive to continuously improveYou are a problem solver and can work independentlyYou are the physical embodiment of the Scrum values: commitment, focus, openness and respect, and courageYou thrive in a team environment and are happy to share your knowledge and insightsYou have excellent communication skills: your messages are well-structured, both orally and in writing, and you adapt easily to your audienceYou are proficient in English; in addition, knowledge of Dutch or French is definitely a plusYour profileProfessional experience with consumer loans, especially loan simulation, credit scoring, pricing, or front-office loan toolsPractical knowledge of APIs, Java-based distributed applications, Mainframe programs, SQL queries and data manipulationExperience with software testing and testing toolsNotions of data management and software life cycle managementWorking experience in an Agile environment
