As part of our renewables business, C&I Solutions specializes in helping commercial and industrial clients transition to sustainable energy through customized, scalable solutions. Our team works with businesses to implement comprehensive renewable energy systems - from solar installations and wind turbines to EV charging infrastructure - while ensuring minimal disruption to their operations and maximum return on investment.At C&I Solutions, you will be guiding clients through their renewable energy journey, designing and developing solutions that can scale from single-site installations to interconnected multi-site networks. Your role will be crucial in understanding each client's unique needs and growth trajectory, creating flexible energy solutions that evolve with their business while maximizing efficiency and sustainability gains at every step.Virya Energy is expanding its Commercial & Industrial (C&I) activities in Belgium and is looking for a result‑driven Senior Business Developer. In this key role you identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and deliver customized energy solutions that enable C&I partners to improve their operations and achieve sustainable growth.Business developmentIdentify and secure partnerships with key industry players.Develop and maintain strong satisfaction with key clients and stakeholders.Strategic leadershipDefine and execute the business development strategy for the Belgian C&I market.Drive adoption of integrated energy solutions, including renewable assets, BESS, energy management systems, EV charging infrastructure, and Power Purchase Agreements.Market engagementLeverage a deep understanding of the Belgian energy market, including trends, pricing knowledge, regulatory frameworks and energy incentives.Proven track record in B2B business development in the Belgian energy market, with a focus on renewable energy solutions such as solar, BESS, and/or EV chargers.Exceptional sales and leadership skills with experience in developing and managing sales activities.Strong relationship-building capabilities, with a history of successful client and stakeholder engagements.Bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, or related fields.Fluency in Dutch, French and English.Innovative, forward-thinking, and a passion for driving sustainable energy solutions.To be eligible for this role, you reside in Belgium and hold a valid work permit.Offer:A full-time, impactful role where your entrepreneurship, initiative, and sales skills define success.Career growth opportunities within a leading company in renewable energy.An attractive benefits package, including a green company car, meal vouchers, mobile phone, group insurance, and hospitalization insurance for you and your family.Flexible workplace: 2 day's home office.Our offices are currently located in Braine-l'Alleud but we will be moving soon to our new offices in Halle.
