Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of new software releases and other locally managed software

Deploy add-ons, overseeing testing and release management procedures.

Create and maintain automation and interfaces, utilising MS Office applications, accounting software, and other pertinent tools.

Design, construct, and maintain data interfaces, scripts, and minor applications to streamline and automate core policy administration software.

Develop and maintain reporting solutions and other applications to external and internal databases.

Collaborate on the occasional development of tools supporting life insurance policy administration and other project tasks within the organisation.

Contribute development expertise to a team transitioning from business domains to IT roles.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, VBScript, and JavaScript.

Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Development Management tools is advantageous.

Strong algorithmic skills, capable of constructing optimised process logic to meet business requirements.

Ability to thrive in a challenging, deadline-driven environment as a part of a cohesive team.

Fluent in English proficiency in French or Dutch is beneficial.
