Als Senior Project Cost Controller / Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Het continu monitoren en bewaken van de projectkosten en budgetten (meerdere miljarden EUR), en het proactief signaleren van afwijkingen.
  • Samenwerken met projectteams om initiële budgetramingen en prognoses op te stellen en deze regelmatig bij te werken.
  • Opstellen en beheren van forecasting- en rapportagesystemen met maandelijkse opvolging van CAPEX-uitgaven en driemaandelijkse forecast updates.
  • Evalueren van projectplanningen en risico's, en het voorstellen van mitigerende maatregelen en alternatieve scenario's.
  • Ondersteunen van het projectteam bij het up-to-date houden van projectrapportages voor transparantie en consistentie richting alle stakeholders.
  • Bevorderen van een cultuur van budgetverantwoordelijkheid binnen het project team.
  • Begeleiden en trainen van andere cost controllers en bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van best practices binnen de organisatie.
  • Fungeren als top management business partner waarbij je het projectteam, Project Directors, de Head of Controlling, CFO en CEO gaat challengen.
  • Stakeholders begeleiden op verschillende niveaus; inclusief het verstrekken van duidelijke financiële inzichten zowel aan de operationele teams als aan de board of directors.

Voor deze rol zoeken we een ervaren en strategisch sterke projectcontroller die vertrouwd is met grootschalige infrastructuurprojecten. De ideale kandidaat beschikt over:

  • Minimaal 7 jaar relevante ervaring in project controlling of project cost engineering, bij voorkeur in grootschalige infrastructuurprojecten met kostenraming op miljardenniveau.
  • Een masterdiploma in management, burgerlijk of industrieel ingenieur of een gerelateerd financieel/economisch domein.
  • Ervaring met het opzetten en optimaliseren van kostenbeheersystemen en diepgaande kennis van project controlling en complex CAPEX-management.
  • Een sterk begrip van technische concepten binnen projectmanagement en het vermogen om proactief kostenafwijkingen te identificeren en alternatieven voor te stellen.
  • Het vermogen om aannames binnen een projectomgeving kritisch te evalueren en een cultuur van budgetdiscipline te handhaven.
  • Een sterk analytisch vermogen om complexe financiële gegevens te vertalen naar strategische aanbevelingen.
  • Een assertieve, diplomatieke en analytische instelling met aanpassingsvermogen aan een veranderende bedrijfscultuur.
  • Affiniteit met technische en grootschalige infrastructurele projecten; ervaring in offshore-projecten is een sterke plus.
  • Vaardigheid in MS Office en projectmanagementtools; kennis van SAP is een pluspunt.
  • Beheersing van het Nederlands of Frans met een goed begrip van de andere landstaal en Engels.
  • Bereidheid om regelmatig aanwezig te zijn op de projectlocaties.
