De dienst P&C & Health Controlling heeft als opdracht het management en de BU P&C & Health te helpen bij het nemen van beslissingen en het uitwerken van het strategisch plan, door de financiële resultaten te analyseren en te voorspellen. Daartoe verzamelt en produceert de P&C & Health Financial Controller cijfergegevens en kwalitatieve en technische informatie. Je analyseert ze, toetst ze, trekt er conclusies uit, vat ze samen, stelt ze voor en doet aanbevelingen. Je zorgt voor de opvolging om de geldigheid van de resultaten van de onderneming te garanderen en erop toe te zien dat de rentabiliteitsdoelstellingen van de organisatie worden behaald.
De belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden zijn:
- Meewerken aan het bepalen en verbeteren van de tools, het framework en methodes voor financiële en strategische analyse om het strategisch plan uit te werken op financieel vlak, in het domein P&C en Gezondheid.
- De verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor het leiden, uitwerken en uitvoeren van een dynamisch proces van strategische planning; de nodige acties opstarten en aanbevelingen doen voor de directie om de vastgestelde doelstellingen te bereiken. Het strategisch plan meedelen aan de Groep.
- Meewerken aan de voorbereiding van de business reviews meetings, in overleg met de directie en de head of business lines, en alle technische/businessthema's centraliseren die een impact hebben op P&L en die moeten worden geanalyseerd/besproken alvorens een concreet actieplan uit te werken.
- De beschikbare informatie over de markt en onze concurrenten in P&C en gezondheid opvolgen en relevante analyses doen voor het Top Management.
- Meewerken aan de realisatie van projecten om de doelstellingen inzake technische rentabiliteit, beheersing van de algemene kosten en permanente verbetering van de servicekwaliteit te bereiken.
- Meewerken aan complexe financiële analyses van huidige of verwachte gegevens en de volledigheid en de correctheid valideren om de relevantie van de resultaten te garanderen.
- Het budget- en financieel controleproces sturen om een duidelijke visie te hebben van de financiële gegevens, ze intern en extern aan elkaar te toetsen en aanbevelingen te doen.
- De portefeuille van transformatieprojecten voor de scope P&C & Health opvolgen en de uitwerking en de regelmatige update van de business case en de KPI's verzekeren om ervoor te zorgen dat ze afgestemd zijn op de financiële hypothesen.
- Je hebt een master in financiën, management, economie of kwantitatieve richting (actuariaat, wiskunde)
- Je hebt minstens vijf jaar professionele ervaring in een financieel analytische functie.
- Je kent de verzekeringssector en meer bepaald het domein P&C.Je hebt een rationele en analytische geest, met feeling voor cijfers en een strategische visie.
- Je communiceert op een duidelijke, synthetische manier en je weet hoe je oorzakelijke verbanden moet leggen. Je bent in staat om technische concepten om te zetten in niet-technische termen.
- Je toont volharding, je kan omgaan met dringend werk en je aanpassen aan de behoeften van het management.
- Je hebt een scherpe zin voor samenwerking en je kan goed luisteren.
- Je bent discreet en je respecteert de vertrouwelijkheid van de behandelde informatie.
- Je hebt een perfecte kennis van het Nederlands of het Frans en een uitstekende kennis van het Engels. Actieve kennis van de tweede landstaal is een troef.
