The use cases we are working on rely on GenAI to make writing documents or finding relevant information easier thus helping bring drugs to patients faster and more efficiently.
A Business Analyst (BA) is the link between the business objectives and core technological capabilities the team is building. An agile team requires constant adaptation and innovation to turn customer needs into outputs. A Business Analyst's goal is to drive organized and effective requirements to build the product.
Responsibilities
They are responsible for utilizing creative and practical thinking to translate requirements into direct improvements.
The BA is then responsible for ensuring the team knows and understands what they are expected to build through a backlog and user stories and how it connects to overall objectives.
The BA is the team's source for business logic, requirements, analysis, and testing features once ready.
Collaborate with a Product Owner to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value
Elicit requirements to accomplish team goals
Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team. Together with Poduct Owner and Tech Lead maintain a backlog
Serve as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements and drive user stories
Exercise strong decision-making mandate across the team as a proxy to the product owner
Stay in sync with the product owners on priorities and day-to-day decision-making
Support the product owners in collaborating with other teams and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with overall product vision
Define, implement, and track performance metrics once the solution enters production
Prep and support the team on product demos
Requirements
A relevant degree in the biomedical domain
Knowledge of the main principles of Business Analysis (requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, risk assessment etc.)
Proven experience working with ML/AI-based products and developer teams
Knowledge or motivation to learn about the clinical development process
Empathy and the ability to translate problems into solutions
Knowledge of IT concepts: Experience using Gpt-based tools (i.e., Chatgpt/Gemini, etc.)
Motivation to stay updated on the latest technological developments in the LLM space
Experience/willingness to learn working with Azure DevOps
Fluent in English
Soft skills for the "DT Business Analyst for AI"
Collaborative attitude and ability to interact positively with the stakeholder
Ability to work in uncertain/everchanging environment
Positive attitude in problem solving: no challenge is too big
