SMT is officieel distributeur van Volvo Construction & Equipment, Volvo Penta en Volvo Trucks & Bus en biedt een breed assortiment producten in meer dan twintig landen in Noord-, West- en Centraal-Afrika, België, Nederland en Groot-Brittannië.
We hebben een uitstekend eigen verkoop- en servicenetwerk dat uitblinkt in operationele wendbaarheid en ondernemingsgeest. Door partnerschappen aan te gaan met onze klanten creëren we waarde door state-of-the-art diensten en producten te leveren. Onze ambitie in zowel gebiedsdekking als productportfolio is een sterk engagement om de groei van onze klanten te ondersteunen.
Om de groei van onze Finance Department te ondersteunen, zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een Business Controller om ons team te versterken.

Je maakt deel uit van de afdeling SMT Africa - Finance en rapporteert aan het hoofd Finance. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de maandelijkse afsluiting en rapportage van je dochterondernemingen. Je beheert ook de key performance indicators en coördineert het jaarlijkse budgetproces.
Als Business Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volgende taken voor je dochterondernemingen:
- Verantwoordelijk voor de analyse van het maandelijkse rapportagepakket, van de belangrijkste financiële ratio's voor jouw landen ;
- Actieve betrokkenheid bij de maandafsluiting met het lokale team en met auditteams;
- Coördinatie van het budgetproces van uw dochterondernemingen (één keer per jaar) en de prognoses van de entiteiten (twee keer per jaar);
- Financiële expertise en ondersteuning brengen in je perimeter en verantwoordelijk zijn voor het kas- en werkkapitaalbeheer;
- Ondersteun de landen bij verschillende controles (fiscaal, belasting, enz.) en help bij de transfer pricing ;
- Een echte business partner zijn voor de financiële teams in je landen;
- Je bezoeken aan Afrika (uiteraard afhankelijk van de wereldwijde situatie) zullen je helpen om de situatie beter in te schatten en de entiteiten te ondersteunen;
- Je bent een ambassadeur van het beleid van de Groep en van de voortdurende verbetering van de procedures voor boekhouding en bedrijfscontrole.
- Master in financiën/boekhouding/audit;
- Minimaal 3 jaar in audit en bedrijfscontrole bij voorkeur in de auto-industrie (dealerbedrijf) ;
- Goede kennis van de principes van financiële consolidatie ;
- Je spreekt vloeiend Frans en Engels ;
- Goede kennis van Windows Office suite ;
- Goede kennis van financiële systemen (idealiter MS Dynamics NAV, Lucanet) ;
- Autonoom met een echte teamgeest ;
- Volhardend, rigoureus en professioneel in zijn relaties;
- Leer- en luistervaardigheden om de lokale financiële teams volledig te ondersteunen;
- Bereid tot regelmatige bezoeken aan Afrika (10% van de tijd).
