Als Technology Manager Patisserie bouw je mee aan de Product Leadership Strategy van La Lorraine Bakery Group. We streven er dagelijks naar om de meest kwalitatieve en innovatieve bakkerijproducten aan te bieden aan onze klanten. Jij bent verantwoordelijk om met jouw kennis en expertise onze collega's te inspireren, op te leiden en onze patisserieproducten te vernieuwen en optimaliseren.

Als Technology Manager Patisserie maak je deel uit van onze Technology & Innovation (T&I) afdeling en deel je jouw kennis, expertise en vakmanschap met verschillende collega's in onze organisatie. Je bouwt hierbij een vertrouwensband uit en bent hun aanspreekpunt.

Daarnaast sta je in voor de volgende taken:

  • Je zorgt , in samenwerking met marketing en T&I, voor het uitwerken van nieuwe kwalitatieve producten binnen het segment 'Patisserie'. Daarnaast tracht je het bestaande productportfolio te optimaliseren en verder af te stemmen op de verwachtingen van onze klanten.
  • Samen met de lokale technologen, bestudeer je het volledige productieproces (van deeg tot eindproduct) in de verschillende sites en doet hands on verbetervoorstellen waar nodig. Je beoordeelt hierbij de keuze van de machines, de procesparameters, de receptuur, de grondstoffen, .
  • Je werkt best practices uit, je legt ze vast en je rolt ze uit in alle sites. Je adviseert, overtuigt en traint eerstelijnsverantwoordelijken en productie-operatoren bij het operationeel uitwerken van de producten. Je bent ook inspirator en coach voor onze lokale technologen en kwaliteitsmanagers.
  • Wanneer relevant volg je T&I vergaderingen en multidisciplinaire innovatiemeetings in de verschillende productiesites. Je treedt hierbij op als klankbord en deelt jouw expertise. Daarnaast organiseer je patisseriepanels en patisseriekeuringen.
  • Je neemt de leiding in het opmaken en uitrollen van Best practises, procesflows, scorecards en evaluatie formulieren en zorgt ervoor dat deze steeds up to date en gevolgd worden. Hiervoor organiseer je ook opleidingen voor de lokale technologen en rol je dit samen met hen uit in de productie.
  • Samen met de lokale technologen volg je de opstart van een nieuw product op, dit doe je ter plaatste en actief aan de productielijn. Je waakt erover dat de vastgelegde recepturen, productieflows strikt gevolgd worden in de productie.
  • Je bereid en organiseert lab-to-line testen voor van A tot Z samen met de lokale technoloog. Je definieert en plant next steps, evalueert en stuurt bij waar nodig. Een gestructureerde administratieve opvolging is hierbij een belangrijk deel.
  • Je volgt de bloemparameters van dichtbij op in samenwerking met onze divisie 'milling' in functie van een constante en optimale eindkwaliteit.

  • Je volgde succesvol een bachelor of masteropleiding binnen een voedingsgerelateerd domein (bijv. bio- en/of levensmiddelentechnologie) en/of bakkerijtechnologie.
  • Als expert in je vak, kan je relevante ervaring voorleggen binnen een industriële voedingsomgeving.
  • Je bent sterk gepassioneerd door voeding (patisserie) en je volgt de nieuwste ontwikkelingen en tendensen in dit vakdomein van nabij op. Verder heb je affiniteit met (bakkerij)machines of wil je je hierin verdiepen.
  • Je bent creatief en hebt oog voor detail.
  • Door je diplomatiek en sterke communicatie en didactische vaardigheden, kan je jouw kennis makkelijk doorgeven aan collega's.
  • Naast het Nederlands, beschik je ook over een goede kennis Frans en Engels.
  • Gelet op het feit dat je wordt ingeschakeld in de verschillende productiesites ben je ook flexibel ingesteld om je te verplaatsen. Je zal op regelmatige basis de verschillende sites in België bezoeken (Oostende, Ninove, Schoten, Alken, Barchon en Morlanwelz).
  • Je vertoeft graag op de productievloer en besteed maximaal tijd aan opvolging en bijsturing.
  • Als Technology Manager Patisserie heb je de skills om een doorgedreven RCA (root-cause analyse) uit te voeren en deze met begrijpelijke taal over te brengen om zo over te gaan naar actie en verbetering.
