I'm working with a forward-thinking company dedicated to creating a cleaner and healthier Europe. They're working on an innovative application that is designed to reduce pollution across the continent, making a significant impact on the environment and public health.

As they expand their operations, they are looking for a passionate and skilled QA Specialist to lead their Quality Assurance team and help achieve their mission.

You will have a strong background in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and Jira, with additional skills in Jest, PHP, or JavaScript being a plus. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of the QA team, drive testing strategies, and ensure the highest quality of their application in direct communication with the Technical Lead and CTO.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and test plans to ensure the highest quality of their application
  • Lead the QA team, providing mentorship, guidance, and direction
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify, document, and track defects using Jira
  • Ensure continuous integration and delivery pipelines are functioning correctly and efficiently
  • Perform manual testing when necessary to validate new features and bug fixes
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and the CTO to understand requirements and provide feedback

Requirements
  • At least 3 years experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation
  • Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and project management
  • Familiarity with Jest, PHP, or JavaScript is highly desirable
  • French speaking
  • Valid Belgium working permit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
